The phone updates. My factory firmware is 3. I tried to update it to the current 4. I bought the CA cable. At first it seemed run smoothly, did backups for me, made sure my phone is charged enough, etc. I was told in the update window it's normal for phone to turn off, screen to become blank, and that I shouldn't mind any usb notifications popping. However it seems that after turning of my phone at the very beginning of the installation, the updater is unable to turn it back on - the screen is empty, the light is blinking, after it I get the message my phone is disconnected and the notification about "Device recovery": Nokia software updater has lost connection with your device, follow these steps to help reconnect the device.
Then I am also unable to turn the phone on manually, until the battery is removed and put back phone becomes hot enough by that time. Then it functions normally, but any attempt to reconnect it and continue updating ends in the same way. Still nothing changed.
